Happy BirthdaThanksgiChristmaNewYeaValentinHalfBirthdaPresidents Day!!!

No big deal.  I just let 4 months slide by without a blog post.  It's not like anything important happened in the meantime, besides birthdays, major holidays and significant personality developments (Clay is even more hilarious these days).

At two and a half, Clay talks non-stop.  And I know it's cliché, but he seriously says the funniest things.  I was concerned that his shoes were getting too small for him. So, the other day, I asked him, "Clay, how do your shoes feel?"

His reply was, "I don't like my shoes!!"

"Why not? Do they hurt?"

Clay's response was, "They're too green!"

He said it like it was the most horrible thing in the world.

He's been really into counting and reciting the alphabet (at least his version of the alphabet).

Thank you Karen for this family portrait! This was taken during Thanksgiving festivities at Cindy and Leo's.

We're still missing a few cousins, but here are a few from the Thanksgiving dinner!

This is Clay's "perfect afternoon": wearing work boots and working outside with Daddy.

Yes, this is a picture from 2015 Christmas.  I can't skip over this! Look at our adorable tree that we cut down from Butte Meadows!

Christmas Morning: Clay gets the BEST PRESENT EVER!!! Mini Tractor Set.

After Christmas, we spent a weekend with Maile, Michael and the kids in Tahoe.

Alex and Clay go skiing at Tahoe.  They both lasted only about 15 minutes, but isn't this picture worth all the hastle??

For Presidents' Day weekend, we went up to Incline Village with the Merinos.

We visited North Star for a day to check out the gondola ride up to the Ritz Carlton.

Matt and Christina & Co. joined us at North Star for the day, and so we all jumped into the gondola for another ride with the kids.  Some how I ended up with all the small kids.

Who doesn't bring their googles and work tools to dinner? Isn't that standard?

Last night in Tahoe, by some miracle we made it out to dinner.  We almost didn't make it with two 2 year olds, but with sticker books, you can almost do anything.
