This has been a very eventful month. Clay is becoming more of a little individual with a personality. He's stubborn and a little needy, and also extremely loving and silly. He is getting big! At his six month appointment, he weighed in at 18 pounds and 2 ounces. I feel like my arms are the strongest they've ever been since I've learned how to do everything with Clay on my hip and one hand free. I tried to keep a running tab of fun milestones this month. I'm sure I've forgotten some... but here is a list of what I've remembered:
January 10th - Clay becomes ticklish! He can't stand it when his feet are tickled and he started laughing like crazy.
Jan 14th - Clay starts kicking around too much for baths in the sink. We say goodbye to baths in the kitchen sink.
Jan 15th - Clay starts sleeping on his stomach. We keep turning him onto his back, but he's a persistent stomach sleeper.
Jan 15 - 17th - Erin's first nights away. For a work trip, I'm in Boston from Wednesday morning through Friday night. Luke takes over everything and does a great job!
Jan 18th - Clay starts rolling everywhere!
Jan 19th - Clay's first food! We introduce rice cereal to Clay.
