Baby Steps

We're having a baby! A baby boy! Back in March, we invited our parents over to find out the sex of our baby.  We cut into the chocolate cake below and found blue frosting.  It was a really fun way to discover our baby's gender and share the news!

Since finding out we're about to be parents, we've been hanging out with family:

We're at t minus 15 days.  Estimated due date is August 7, but that means it could be any day now!  I'm currently on my maternity leave.  I've been reading GRACO manuals & car seat safety ratings, assembling the snap n go & pack n play, skimming how to make your baby the happiest baby on the block and trying to relax as much as possible (BRAVO TV, cooking, baking and going for lots of walks).  Luke has been working hard, getting organized and helping me with tasks like setting up the rocking chair, lifting heavy items and making our bed every morning.  

We're excited and can't wait to meet our little boy!
