I'm not giving up on this blog!

Maybe it's February and I haven't posted anything in 3 months, but I'm not giving up on this blog.  Through the holidays, we were very busy with traveling to London/Paris and leaving Clay for ten days, first haircuts, Christmas time in Fairfax and Colusa, staying up to 11:30pm on New Years, half birthdays, an impromptu weekend in Santa Clara and finally a snowless Tahoe.  We even made it through this past weekend in Davis when Luke was inducted to the UC Davis Baseball Hall of Fame where Luke delivered such a great speech reflecting on his baseball career at Davis.  I was so proud!  It's unfortunate that at many (most) of these fun events I forgot my camera. Or, I brought my camera, but forgot my memory card.

Below are some fun pictures from the last 3 months to bring this blog to 2015.

Me at Trafalgar Square in front of the National Gallery.

Trafalgar Square view.  Beautiful!

We took a tour of the Tower of London.  We LOVED it!

Luke under a Parisian street lamp.

There it is! After an awkward encounter at a French restaurant, we walked home and stumbled upon this sparkly beauty.

Clay and Luke working in the front yard.  Clay was playing in the leaves, while Luke was actually racking.

Clay and his beautiful aunties!

I got my mom and sister matching loungewear for Christmas.  Really, the only reason why I got them the present was so that I could take a picture of them in their silly outfits together on Christmas morning. Totally worth it!

This is Clay Christmas morning with his presents behind him.  He was so excited opening his presents that he jumped up and down and screamed in anticipation.  That was truly witnessing pure, unashamed joy.

After Christmas one morning, Clay refused to let me feed him oatmeal for breakfast.  He shook his head back and forth until I finally realized that he wanted to feed himself.  I gave him a spoon, and then was shocked when he was actually able to bring the spoonful of oats to his mouth! Such coordination, that I had to get out my camera to take pictures.

Luke and I decided it was time for Clay's first haircut after one day of shopping at the mall.  Clay was wearing these adorable red overalls since it was still Christmas-y/New Years festivities time.  Well, we got so many comments that our daughter was beautiful.... so I brought Clay in for his first gender defining haircut.

Here we are chopping off those beautiful curls!

Finished product: Clay looks like a little boy now! What a cutie!
